Hey anyone know what the deal is with Trick Marine? I have been dealing with them on my exhaust problem for the last three months, nothing short of a nightmare, never get a call back, alway some new problem with them, been waiting for a refund for weeks, but when you call, you get some meassage about store inventory, I've heard of others that have had problems with Trick, and just trying to get my $4000 back, I was told that I would have the credit back, and then no answer when I call, and no reply from e-mails, are they out of business? I can understand having personal problems, but business is business, just wondering if anyone else is having problems?

Low prices, but most of my orders are screwed up, I'm done with them.
Bad packing, stuff missing parts, no receipt, damage in shipping, stuff that does not work, weeks waiting then excuses, etc. (DISCLAIMER STATEMENT) These are only my experiences from this year. I am sure other people have had good dealings with them, so keep asking around before you write them off. My problems with them may be isolated instances.

I have been dealing with Fred for years now. I have had my share of problems, but he sorted them all out in a timely manner. To date, no issue remains unresolved with me. I am not making excuses for them but here is a thread on OSO that may have something to do with your issue.

Yeah, I know about what happend with James and Fred, I know I should hold judgement, I have just been very frustrated, and catching a lot of heat from my wife, I'm very sorry for what has happened, and Fred seems like a great guy, seems very good at what he dose. I guesse that it has just been a hard year. I was not sayithing that I would not deal with Fred again, I would in fact.
I really don't want to knock Trick Marine, not my style. Just venting a little.

We are a site sponsor, If we can be of service & are looking for a different type of service, we carry the same items & more..
Good products & great service does have a cost that goes with it. My prices are not always the cheapest out there, nor are they always the most, but they are fair.
However, my service, returning calls & emails as well as getting what you want and need the first time I have been told are second to none.. I always try to return calls & emails within 24 business hrs or less.. Some of you that have already dealt with me already know this..
If you need something that I cant get you I will be straight & tell you so as not to waste your time..
We carry oem Mercruiser & Volvo parts, High performance parts including blowers, superchargers and exhaust systems. We also do custom installs & full performance boat restoration as well as performance boat service and more.
Anyway my shop is open to you guys.. If any of you need me give me a call. :)

It seems that things at TrickMarine have gotten real bad. There is a huge thread on OSO about this. It was also found he has been selling brand new parts on E-Bay. This doesnt look good. Too bad, I have bought from Fred for years with great luck. May not happen anymore.:(
