That's one awesome vid. Great stuff. Nice job with mixing the soundtrack and engine noise. Sounded sick when the two boats were running together. :thumb:

Man that motor torks the whole boat out of the water on those "wheelies" ! Awesome ! Looks like there's some friendly competition at the lake ! Love the "drive by" at close range. It really gives a true idea of speed.

Keep em' comin' :bigthumb:

nope i'm not all there, but i sure have fun driving it :D
the motor is an 89 2.4 bridgeport efi, rated at 240hp
the boat that beat me in the video is a 19 elminator with a 2.5 260hp on it...he's up in the 90's so its not much of a challenge for him...but i try like hell everytime i see him

Hey let me know what's going on this summer, my boat will be done by the end of June beginning of July. I'll see if my lil old Trimate will out run you ~ evil grin ~smiles~ I think since my Trimate II only weights 860 - 890 without motor I might have a flying chance.

* LOL scratches my chin * All my friends say I'm kinda nutz well I'll have to see how well I can throttle through the chine walk, maybe I can get my Trimate to run on the lower unit like I used to run my 14ft G.W. Invader 20 yrs ago ~ smiles~ The only difference is back then I thought I was unstoppable , but now after a couple of good wipe outs and repairs I realize ( You have to be one with the forces of lift, and realize when to back off and throttle up ) LOL ** I had one get loose on me and hit a river bank at 60mph and it stuck in the bank like a arrow head LOL ** Gus I might have to follow your lead and add a pad, waiting to see how your design works, I'm going to see how a 26 pitch Cleaver works this time the 24 pitch Chopper was a flop when I made enough torque to spin the hub and she went to 8,900 rpm, played hell with the power head when 2 head bolts backed out at the same time ~ frowns~ Thanks Gus for all the advice and keepin an eye on a wildman like me lol.

hey greg,
So did you get your engine rebuilt? Let me know if you plan on taking it out, I haven't talked to jeremy in a while either and didn't know if he got is lower unit fixed yet. I had my prop worked this year and I am pushing to break the 70 mark sometime. -shane
