That is just funny. A couple of pieces of plywood probably wouldn't keep a motor afloat, and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't turn at all. Wow.

Usually with those, when you stop, you gotta jump out too keep it from sinking. Saw a few around in the 70's. I have seen a couple with those old white Merc motors on them, seemed fast back then (probably 45 mph). His price is kinda high IMO.

I had one of those when I was growing up. What a blast. Had an old 5hp on the back. Turning was fun as they tended to go sideways, had to kind of let off the gas, start the turn then nail it.
They sort of floated with a motor, gas and a small kid.
Price seems a bit high, I saw plan's on the net to build one. Material would not cost much. I don't even think mine was glassed. I do remember it waving some sort of caulk in all the seams.

I like it. There was a guy in my high school that build something like that in shop class.

I cant believe my eyes, that used to be mine. I got it from my neighbor who was in the process of putting it to the curb, I assumed he built it, it had been in his garage for years and years. My friend and I did that amazing "job" on the transom. This was in maybe 93 or 94, my friend has since moved away, last I knew it was in a storage building owned by his family here in Saginaw. When I was 16 I thought it was pretty cool, but realistically it would probably just end up taking your outboard to the bottom.

I just saw the asking price, its a bit high. I think you could build one for less, it is a pretty basic design.
