iv got an 81 exciter that im rebuilding im putting a 84 150 erude on her with a jack plat open exhaust and a prop that i bought from a race time in my home town its 21 what kind of speed can i exspect from this set up i had a 21 foot stratos ski boat with a 200 xp erude and it ran in the high 70's with gps im looking to go faster with this boat.

you will have to be more specific on witch model you have.


an exciter is 18 ft closed bow 1075 lbs rated for 180 horse
an enticer is 16 foot open bow 750 lbs rated for 125 horse

I think you are going to need more pitch to see 70 on the gps.

My 16' Enticer with 135 Black Max, 6" jack plate and 21 pitch laser II ran just over 60 mph.
