Zero effort controls...trim /trailer switch

Has anyone ever changed the trim/trailer switch ...How does the pod that the switch mounts to come out of the handle...Its a red pod...and goes all the way thru the handle..Has no set screw or anything..I am guessing that it is pressed in...Any help would be greatly appreciated..Thanks in advance

Is it a gaffrig or quick silver. I have a gaffrig and it snaps on

Thanks for the reply...Im not sure ..i actually just bought the boat...how do you tell the difference...The swith has 3 wires coming out of it which are 12 inches long...Thanks

Im guessing its a gaffrig do to the fact that ALL the gauges are gaffrig
