Redboat, just thought I would tell you that I bought a Ron Hill four blade labbed 15 1/4 X 22 on ebay. I will let you know how it performs on my Senator when I get it in the water. Cheers, Alan

What is the pitch of the prop? Is it a large blade or small blade chopper?
What are you looking to get out of it?
Do you have any pictures of the prop?

I assume it's a 24" pitch . It's a big prop , at least 14"in diamater . You got me wondering , so I searched the internet , its a cleaver prop . Could be a Hydromotive . Could be a Merc TRS Cleaver . Make me an offer . It was on my Senator big block/bravo1 when I bought it .

It's an 89. I was wondering did the exhaust and ignition up grades on your engine make much difference? Alan

Alan,
Big difference! Made the engine breath better , revs. up faster , worth at least 6 MPH . A bit louder , deeper sound . Exhaust was a pain , had to cut holes and slots in the underside of the sun deck ( see pictures in "picture this , Redboats 89 Senator )

A cleaver is a stern lifting prop. I really need a high rake bow lifting prop. I have props that are great for lifting the bow, (laser 2 and a rapture both 25 pitch. But I am going to need a prop that will run on the surface. A chopper will fit that bill.
Thanks for takeing the time to find out what type of prop it was.

No but I will send you some when I get it out of storage. It's red and white and in near perfect condition. I had a Hydrostream before this and am a little disappointed in the performance. Also my wife does not like the closed bow. oh well! I'm looking at getting something else or I am going to modify the engine.

Alan,
I'm saving for cam, lifters, rockers, intake and carb. I would replace the heads , but I can't afford any more height in the engine compartment .
