Spectra is one of the coolest looking boats out there. But I'll admit I'm biased.

Robby,

I know that boat, or did. When did you sell it?

I sold the boat nine years ago, ( it doesn't seem that long ago) if you saw it going fast I still owned it. I don't think the guy that bought it was into speed as much as looks, I could be wrong.

Thanx
Rob

If you use to live in the Dubuque, Iowa area then it has to be the boat I'm thinking of. A buddy of mine bought it from you. Yeah, he never really drove it real hard, sometimes he's let it rip! He had it until about 2002 or so and got out of boating. I'd see it around up until about a couple years ago, then it just disappeared.

Love the boat. That trailer would look great under my trimate.:thumb:

I live in Dubuque and I bought the boat new so your buddy must be Ryan. I wish I still had it.:brickwall: It started life with GT150 then I stepped up to the 200 turning a 26 merc chopper with 8" of setback. That boat only had one speed, know what I mean!!!! The summer before we had our first boy that boat was on the water everyday for 38 days (our longest run yet). We would ski on the weeknights then change props and race around all weekend long. There will be more pics to come. I hope everyone is having this much fun with their Checkmates!!

The Spectra is a GREAT looking classic boat. It was the basis for the Pulse line, and I think that's why the Pulse boats look so great too!

Yep, Ryan had it for a good 5 years or so. I rode in that boat quite a few times. Very fun, lots of punch at mid range, is what I remember the most.
