Cool boat,It will clean up nicely.With all the high performance parts on the engine I think a set of headers would be a nice addition.One thing I see that concerns me is the Air Cleaner and valve covers. They're automotive pieces and in my opinion shouldn't be on a marine engine.A Spark arrester should be on top of the carb.And instead of push in style breathers there should be pc valves with rubber hose that runs to the spark arrester.With that set up(which is stock)you have less fumes in your engine compartment.The less fumes the better! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif Check out any other boat with a 260 Merc. and you'll see what I'm talking about. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

The K&N Air Filter is a True metal screen Flame arrester made for marine applications. I thought the same as you when I first saw it. As for the breather you are correct but it looks better. Headers are next spring. Thanks guys for the compliments.

To this day i think that is one of the best looking Check's we've ever made....great looking boat!

Very nice I'd say too. I can't necesarily say its the best I have even seen, but its up there. Hows it all run?

The boats name is " Blurred Vision ". The person doing the work has the perfect blurred font so it should look awesome.
