Hey !
I wantedto let you know I hauled my boat down to Randy at GPI in avon so he could check out the oil alarm, every thing checked out ok(of course the alarm didn't go off when he was looking at it, the shaft was turning, the tank in the motor was refilling, the alarm went off when he made it go off). I took it out over the weekend and you wouldn't believe it, the alarm went off again. http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/brickwall.gif He told me to run premix in it until after labor day and then bring it down again and he will see what he can do. Can the oil alrm be un plugged without effecting the alarm for temp.? http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/irked.gif

http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/jpshakehead.gifJeez, Isn't that the way it always goes. You take something to the shop and it works perfect.

It is good to know they won't have to tear the engine down again though.

I'm not sure if you can just disconnect the oil warning, as they both use the same warning horn and module. You might want to ask Randy.

If I remember correctly, low voltage while the engine is running will cause a false alarm. It might worth checking into. Could be your regulator.

Good luck!

Yeah!! They looked great! Your boat looked pretty cool flying across the water, the ride you gave my son, nephew, and friend Les, is a ride they say they will never forget! The pic you sent in of my boat is up for boat of the month, I thought that was pretty cool to! http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif
