1980 enchanter transom issues.

well im suspecting i need the transom replaced on my enchanter. at the top of the transom the fiberglass is split all the way across the top. and the wood looks preety wet.:poke::(

how much would this cost to have it done? and who here is capable of doing it. the hull seems really solid otherwise the transom knees are still planted and strong.

is the boat not worth saving?

I would not use that stuff in your boat. It's definatly not for performance oriented boats.

I sure would like to hear from someone thats used that stuff. I've fought too many transoms.

Call Kevin Brown at Lakeway boat repair. He has my Enforcer right now putting in a new transom. I would give you his number, but I can't find it right now. Give Kip a call at C-mate and get his number. He is located just north of C-mate and can probably answer your questions. boatman
