What is your favourite Checkmate, color combination?
I'd have to go with the red hull, black and white accents.
My only worry if I was buying that combo though, would be fading. Unless you really pamper a boat with a colored hull they always seem to fade.
I guess I'd just have to order a boathouse and lift too. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I have to agree with you Chris, friend of mine has a 21' bowrider, red with the b/w accents. It was originally owned by an Air Canada pilot, hence the red I guess, anyways, the boat looks totally awesome, the things a real head turner, but does take some shining. His wife complains that he messages the boat more than her, seems his priorities are right!

Favorite Checkmate colors- I loved my black Pulse 171 with red and white stripes. My 183 Persuader was awsome in all red with white and black stripes. Seems like most combinations of red or black base with white/red/black stripes are the best!
My current boat, the Pulsare that's all white with red/orange/yellow stripes is OK, but not as sexy as the others I've owned. It definately is easier to take care of though! Yes, red and black and yellow WILL fade if left out in the sun.
P.S., I also like that little yellow/black/white Pulse 170 that's down there /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Your dad is sending me some info this week /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

By sales at the factory here in snowy cold Bucyrus...white w/Deep Purple& Black along with Merc Blue & Black are the most popular colors ...you can put any combination of white , red , black on that list also!

Kip, when I was at Pride of Muskoka marine this summer, they had a sweet looking dark blue Pulse 180 B/R.

Kip, Are most boats ordered or does the factory generally produce different colors for dealers to pickup? My 92 starflight is black with pink and flamingo stripes. Who would have ordered that? It definintely gets looks because there is noting around our lakes area like it!!!

Red is Best, Yellow is next. I own a 92 Pulse 211 red with red/white interior. Keep covered and garaged when not in the water to keep it nice. The color hulls do really fade under the hot sun! The heads it turns is all worth the extra care!

I like the red main colour then with white. My neighbour had a 2100 Pulsare with a 225 Optimax and if I recall he got 77.6 MPH. Then he tried the 225 Pro Max from Mercury Racing and the results were not as good. I am not sure what prop he used, might have been a Lightning ET, not sure. I think the paint was a special edition, I am not sure, the boat is 1997-2000 somewhere in and around there. Has anyone heard of this? Thanks for the help...
Checkmates may not be the fastest boats on the water, but they are the nicest looking!

I like anything that keeps me up on waterskiis.
Do they make a black hull with red, white and yellow racing checker banner? I think that would look quite racy.

You can definately get the black hull color. Depending on which boat you ordered you could also get the accent colors. You could get two on the Pulsare...and more on the bigger boats. Try the graphic stylizer on the Official Site.

Sounds about right Crave2WaterSki, any boat that can keep me up on any water-sport I do, mostly water-skiing. I don;t know about the yellow, but they do have red white, and black I think. If you were really into the boat, you could always get it done by a professional or get a special order by Checkmate, if possible...

EVEN THOUGH MY BOAT IS RED AND WHITE MY FAVORITE COLORS ARE YELLOW AND BLUE LIKE THE ZT.
I havn't seen much stock yellow and blue on a boat. About the only boat I have seen it on was the Eliminator 33 (I think)
