I have to assume that it's a checkmate from what you said, I couldn't tell in the pic- but I would never have thought that would be a checkmate- it just doesn't look right to me. Somehow looks like a Bayliner or a Starcraft... really generic.

Had some time to kill tonight and looked thru the scans 1987-1989; I think yer right.:thumb: Looks as if the fiberglass swim platform has been removed and replaced w/ a step. But hey, I'm no expert on checkie models and history by any stretch of the imagination:D

i hate how that happens , i've seen over 6 other mates in my area , only met up w/ 2 people ! so it kinda makes me think their not forum members . half the time there headin opp. direction , or i'm headin in there blowin by goin out ! just lettin you know its not just you ! kinda frustratin huh ?

I was working heading out for a service call on some machines when I passed him on the road, I about came to screeching halt to look at it when I seen the checkmate on the side. Time like that I need to have a checkmate sticker on my truck.. BTW chris when can we expect checkmate forum stickers????
