good morning mates,
My name is Robert Gendreau and i am new to the group, and the very very proud new owner of an 88 281 maxum. her name is absolutely and we reside in Rochester N.Y. She has a built 454 mag pushing a minimum of 550 horses. Never had her dynoed. She has a forged crank, 9-1 compression pistons, stainless marine 4 inch wet exhaust hedder system, merlin heads, crain cam, eldebrock intake, holly carb and lots of other internals that give her a heart of gold. All these ponys feed a bravo 1 with a stainless mirage 23 pitch prop that has been worked. I will be changing out all the old junk vdo gages cause they bounce around too much to be accurate, and I dont have a gps speedo yet so im not sure what my top end is. I have been clocked at 68 mph buy some joker in a baja who has a gps and i was only turning 46 hundred on the tack. "He couldn't go any faster, HE HE HE!". Absolutly is cammed and aspirated to turn 55 hundred max, so I figuring that she should top out around or slightly under 80 mph. Me hopes and prays. I only have 30 hours on her since we built the engine so i havent taken her up past 5 grand yet. I am a little bored with the gellcote scheme so i think that shes going to get some new makeup this winter. Oh and by the way, I work part time running a boat repair shop at Eagle Creek Marina in Kendal N.Y. this is going to be the primer boating facility on the south shore of Lake Ontario. 2.3 mill has been invested to bring the place up to snuff. You guys, to include you Canadians, should check the place out next summer when it is finished. http://www.eaglecreekmarina.com. I didnt make it to Toronto this year because of all the work thats been going on, but Toronto is usually a 2xer weekend per season, and various poker runs. I would like to ask if anyone else in the group is from the Rochester area. If so you can contact me on aol im "fisherking101".
so heres some pitchers of ABSOLUTELY in Irondequoit Bay.
