Taped this last weekend at John H. Kerr Dam on the Virginia/North Carolina line. Great day to be on the water even if it was a little choppy for speed runs.

Good Job with the video,I just have one suggestion Get yourself a real set of fenders anywhere from 9in to 12in for that size of boatYou'll never be sorry you did.

Again Good Job, I miss making videos hope to have footage soon.:bounce:

By fenders I'm assuming you are referring to k-planes? I've thought about it but haven't taken that leap yet.

Very good job on the video, most people come to learn how hard it is to get good video of boats, you also did a good editing job.

I think the fenders the last poster was referring to were the small white rub-rail fenders that you had on the boat when you were coming into the dock.

Oh yeah, gotcha - yeah I need to upgrade to some better dock protection. I've made due with these cheapie ones but I need some better ones...

Fenders are the true name of what most people call bumpers. :bounce:

Nice job on the video!

That girl looked pretty mean! lol

Nice boat though. I bet it sounds pretty mean. 78mph is fast for an I/O :surf:

Mine won't do much more... but I met a guy last weekend at the dock with an I/O running 525"s who claims 92 mph easily.

All I can say is with fuel approaching $4 a gallon I'd hate to be feeding "twins" right now. One big block is enough...:yell:

Great job with your video. Looks like you got some experience with video/editing. I hope you bring more videos. I love to see boating from around the country.

Thanks and keep 'em coming.

I'll try to post a different video in July. We have several Checkmate owners nearby and perhaps we can get the boats together and get some footage. I'd also like to get some poker run footage...
