Your boat is worth it no matter if someone had to replace the transom, floor and stringers or not. That is one of the coolest looking Starflights around. I bet you guys are going to miss it whether you replace it or not. That's a classic!! Good luck! If you get someone interested in the hull/trailer, lemme know. I gotta a good home for the 245.

Merc245, don't get all huffy. c10seven is talking about replacing the OMC (washing machine) on the back of the Starflight he recently purchased with your 245. He's even been considering painting his SLOMC black..... :rof:

Haha! I'm the one who'll be apologizing to him for giving him a hard time about it when his 225 hp refridgerator smokes my poor little 'ole 150 fishin' mota! LoL! That's why I need my own 245!!

Jeffrey, what exactly is wrong with the transom? Does it have a crack from hanging that monster jackplate or is it big time rotten?

Either way, if it's repairable, this is one nice Flite to restore. Knowing what I know now, I'd jump on this boat if I was not already knee deep in mine.
