So we had a third family show up camping, making 6 adults and 6 small kids. I figured what the heck, lets try it out in the starliner. We had a great 3 days out on the lake with everyone. The seapiggies didn't even say anything because we didn't look over loaded. I was amazed at how well we all fit on the boat, and at how well it handled loaded. Great weekend...I think I may have hit 40mph for about 10 seconds, but it was really cool to get everyone out, tube, swim and go out for lunch.

Boat was running all of about 2 mpg (or less!) from what the GPS was telling me. I think I'll pull the injectors in the fall and maybe get my boat mechanic friend to look it over. I know a 225 EFI isn't a fuel miser, but seeing my buddy in a boat twice as heavy use half as much gas is killing me! Seems like something is a little off.

WAAA???? 12 ppl in a Liner?! You mid-westerners ARE crazy!!:shakehead: ;) Maybe you should sell me the boat and buy yourself a pontoon :thumb: LOL. Glad to hear all is well with the boat. I know i can't fit that many ppl in my Persuader, but we'll see how many can when we hit the largest lake in Pa. next weekend. It will be a multi-family, multi-boat weekend, but everyone wants a ride in the 'loud one' :D

OK, 12 people is a little exaggeration - two 1.5 yr olds (in arms most of the time), two 4 yr olds, two 6 yr olds, three small moms, two 170lb guys and one big guy.

I kept the "luggage" to a minimum, used the rear coolers instead of a carry-on cooler and it was fine. Can easily put 2 adults and a bunch of kids up front. The under-console space sleeps one tired kid each when needed- very deep. Bench is comfy for 3 adults. And we were actually reasonably comfortable.

Anchor shade worked as advertised. CAUTION - DO NOT PUSH IT UP BEYOND THE FIRST STOP. It got hung up and needed quite a bit of force to get it down.

Which lake are you going to??

Sheeesh, thats still allot of humans ;) You def. have allot more room than i do. Of course, the I/O takes up a good deal of space.

I'm heading to Rehoboth Beach Delaware this weekend with my 5 y.o. son and then next weekend we are off the Raystown Lake on the Western side of Pa. We'll see how many my boat can haul, as one family will be coming along that doesn't have a boat :shakehead:. We're hoping to convince them to buy a pontoon so we can party :cheers
