Hello all!
New to the board and look forward to picking your brains and discussing a great make of boats. Hope to run against some of you fellow Michiganders in the summer! My boat is a 94' Pulse 186 no mods yet besides running different props. Winter project: Jackplate, interior (need help on which way to go), possible nosecone, exhaust tuner....I think that's it for next year! Again I'm happy to be a new member. I've grown up my entire life on the water and still currently live on the water. ALWAYS loved the old mates and finally got one last spring!

:welcome: What kinda speeds are you running? I'm not sure a nose cone is what you want if your not pushing 75.(real speed i.e.GPS or radar)You can raise up quite high if you just plug the top two or three pickup holes.

Motor is 175 merc carb. This summer after I got the boat I acquired a 200 merc that wasn't worth it to fix, I took the lower and exhaust tuner and many other parts off motor and traded the rest for work from a friend who builds cats. Again nothing besides playing with props has occured yet. I've run the 23 laser (great out of hole and nice all around) 24 chopper (Rocked for top end and midrange punch) 22 chopper (Pretty good all around still slow getting up though) Unfortunately my gps was unavailable for alot of my runs with props. I was gps'ing in the begining of summer on five cylinders (burnt coil) top at 59.8. Fixed and did'nt have gps. So my numbers may be off slightly.

Show us some pics!
Dont forget, if you put a jack plate on that you need to install a water pressure guage, and plug the top 2 or 3 water intake holes like jkeiper said.
Power heads are mega $$$$$$$$, I know first hand
