The boat in the second photo looks like the same model as in the first. Are these both Trimates? This is a great looking boat! I tried calling the number but got voice mail. I want to move up from my Sportire to an I/O with more power and a bowrider. This fits the bill. Anyone have experience with these regading skiing, boarding, putting, and zooming around? I was thinking that there was a 4 cyl. mercruiser option for trimates 120 or 140 probably.Looks like a good V-8 swap project.What do you think Gus?

THE MAN SELLING THE CONVINCER TOLD ME "IT HAS A PUMPED UP ENGINE WITH DOUBLE HUMP HEADS THAT HE REWORKED" I THINK THAT KIND OF HEAD CAN ONLY BE FOUND ON THE SMALL BLOCK CHEVY V8.

As far as i know double hump heads only came out on 327ci 350hp and 350ci 350hp late 60's early 70's chevys .They are good flowing heads.

I DON'T KNOW THE EXACT YEAR. I THINK IT IS A MID 80'S? THE NEXT TIME I AM OVER THAT WAY I WILL GET THE FACTORY NUMBERS OFF OF THE BOAT AND E-MAIL THEM TO CHECKMATE. THEY CAN GIVE ME THE CORRECT SPECS. HAD TO DO THIS WITH MY BOAT TO FIND OUT WHAT IT WAS.
