1997 Pulsare

Z, I've been busy since last friday. Did you get out to Rick's Marine on the weekend? I visited their web site and have noticed some improvement. It still lacks one important section. A new and used boat section! Just wondering if they still have the 1997 Pulsare.

What do you think of my avatar? It ill have to do for now.

I' didn't get a chance to go out there yet. I have a 14' Aluminum (?) boat with a 50 Force which we cooked last summer. I just got the chance to try and take it to Hurst Marina, then finally Pirate Cove where we left it. I don't know when I'll go down as I have been very busy lately... Your avator is a little squashed, mine isn't as bad because I picked a smaller image to start off with before it went down to 10 x 10...

We just wanted to get something kids could drive. I think it was an 89' 50 Force and it took lots and lots of work but it could start first time everytime. I got it from my buddy who owned the Pulsare. He is a cars salesman and he picks up boats all the time, so we get good ones off him. Nothing big, but smaller things that are good for the kids... It was great though. It was good for pulling kids up on skiis and stuff. We don't know exactly how it cooked, but we came around a corner with a tube on the back, came in a little close, then the RPM's shot up like mad, then it started to smoke, but on WOT it went about 5 MPH back home. I don't know if a bag got stuck over anything. Any ideas.

A force is a force, mercury just bought the name, still junk! In 89 though, I belive it was still a chrysler

I was making fun of all the people that adverstise the old ones "Force by Mercury". From what I recall, Force were actually Chrysler's, at least until Merc bought them.
