I'm looking for an outboard Checkmate Playmate (not a newer jet model).

It must have a good dry transom!

The condition of the boat's other components is negotiable. This will be a 'project' boat.
My plan is to cut the bow open and install crash pads and a seat, to make it into a mini bow-rider. I'm looking to make an econo ski runabout. If you have one, or know of one for sale, please post contact info here.

Thanks!!!!!

Is something wrong here, my wife told me I could have kept the little Diplomat instead of trading it in, I just asked her, since the Diplomat is gone, the ZT is not here yet, can I have a Playmate? Why did she say no?!? HA-HA!

http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gifJW, you don't have to worry about that anymore. Your getting that F-13 which will be an awesome little boat, plus you will have your Pulsare which is 70+, for however long you have it... http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif LUCKY DOG YOU ARE!

Checkmates may not be the fastest boats on the water, but they are the nicest looking!

I was talking about a different kind of playmate. The one that was born around 1980, give or take a year or two and one that takes up room in the house, not the garage http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif I still have a problem with romm in the garage when the 240 gets here, I won't leave any of my stuff outside. I am too much of a clean freak! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

In my garage with the rest of the toys, the 240 is the biggest boat I can fit in it and keep the cars in there also. Unfotunately, a GMC extended cab HD 2500 and a GMC Envoy take up a lot of room! My wife just told me she wants to find a 69 Camaro, but we have no more room and I am not buiding on anymore. My next house, I am putting up a seperate building to keep the stuff in. It is a real pain in the a** to back the boat in now with a 21 foot long truck that has the turning radius of a school bus. I wish I would have waited one more year when I got my truck to get the 4 wheel steering. All the sales people told me that 0% would not last. Here it is a year later and still 0%.

I have a Chevy Avalanche, and can't get in in, yet along my '91 Camaro is inches from the door. The '69 is the best Camaro ever, in my opinion, besides the 2002. You must have a awesome wife when she wants a muscle car like itself. Have fun figuring out where everything goes... Can't wait to see pics of the 240...

It is not a standard garage, part is 24x24 and the addition is 30x12. By the time you add the little suff, it is full! She is pretty cool, she let's me do what ever I want (pretty much) when it comes to the boats. Hopefully Kip will be sending me pics of the 240 as production goes along. This has been awhile in the planning and Rick and Kip probably want to nock the sh** out of me from changing my mind so much. But hey, it is a lot of money and I want it done right! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
