We just ran a 270 Br yesterday w/ a 600 SCI from Mercury Racing. They have a new factory certification program for boat builders ......and we passed with flying colors. The boat ran 82.7 GPS right out of the box ! Did you experience any chine walk at 80? Please see my post in " Ask The Experts "

It's a different certification program.....for High Perf- Mercury Racing motors only. No chine walk at all.........boat handled great. The 5 blade Maximus prop's ran great on it as did Bravo's.All Labbed prop's though...that's all the Mercury Racing tech had with him!
