Thanks JW, I love the metal flake, I am thing of having some put into my ZT240 when it is being built over the winter. I wanted a boat Pulsare like yours, but my wife talked me into the ZT240. Great looking boat, I Like the origonallity, I have never seen a color combo like it
Bill
Was a special order by Main Marine in Wisconsin. The stripes in the hull were made to match the Promax stripes. The original owner said that Main Marine ordered this package to do all the boat shows, but only got to one boat show before he stole it away. He got the boat before it made it to the Chicago boat show, just had to have it right away /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
It's not the color scheme that I would have picked, I like the all red with white/black stripe style myself. I had a terrible time talking my self out of spending $32,000 on a new package, and then an even harder time finding a used bow-rider Pulsare. I found this jewel on the 'net, in fact the owner saw a post I had made on the Checkmate factory board. When he sent me pix, I hated the color scheme and didn't pursue it. A few months of hard searching only turned up closed-bow Pulsare, so I re-contacted the owner and had him send me more pix. The new pix he sent showed the boat in a much better light, and I was getting desperate, so I drove to Milwaukee from Michigan and bought it on the spot. He took GREAT care of it. Everyone I come across on the water thinks it's a new boat.

JW,
At the time your boat was built, Jim at Main Marine built most of his Pulsares to match the Pro Max's though on in white is rare for him. Most were done in black or red. Your story about the boat intrigues me, worked at Main Marine at the time and do not remember that boat, of coarse I have been known to forget alot lately. You have one hell of a package, I like it but I am not a traditionalist, I like 'em different!

That is a good one! I Love the color. I am having a zt240 built for me and hope I do not regret it. All along I wanted a pulsare 2100 closed deck with the merc 300, the wife talked me into the 240 instead. I guess that I will never be dissapointed with a Checkmate though!
Sportmaster lower unit, hydraulic jack, hydraulic steering, newer interior (by Checkmate) all for under $20k. I would have bought it myself if I didn't need the open bow so badly...........

I just wanted to remind everyone, if this Diplomat looks appealing, contact Rick at Bayview Marine, He just took it from me on trade. It is a great little boat!!!

Thank-you, I just traded her in to have a zt 240 built, my wife said I could keep the Diplomat, but I do not have the room nor did I want to see it collect dust, so I let her go. I am sure Rick will find a good home for her. I do not have kids, so the little C-mate was my little girl, actually it got treated better than most kids. Is there a doctor out there that can help me?!?
