Came up with an idea, thought I would run it past everyone.
Splashwell drains. The factory installs them a 1/4" up so they never get all the water out. They try and drain into the jackplate or transom plate, doesn't work so well.
What if they were not there?
I am going to try something different.
I am going to install 2 drains in the flat part (base) of my splashwell about 1-2" up from the transom. Install a 90 deg fitting, attach a hose, run at a slight angle to the side of the boat. Install a thru hull fitting above the water line and let her drain.
