i have a mercruiser rect port intake carb and spacer from a 1993? 502 carb motor
not sure which carb it is but the spacer is a square bore for the carb to adapt to the intake, which has a split plenum with roundish bores, larger ones in the rear side. has the fuel lines etc.
i bought this setup and then upgraded before i even installed it!!
very clean piece!!

Carb should be a Holley (800cfm if it was on a 502...750cfm on a 454). Unless your building a 540, the 502 carb will be fine. Get me numbers off it and I can tell you more. Jim.

dont think this ones a holley, but it did come off a stock 502 motor! i think it might be a Weber.
the only numbers i can find are stamped on the bottom.... 08142-16-3
the only other thing i see is an "emblem"???
looks like a "W" underlined.
it is the stock one, painted black and matches the intake(paint lines, etc.)

The Weber carb (IE...GM Quadrajet)... was typically used on the 454 and 502 Merc Horizon inboards (cruiser motors)...this is a spread-bore carb with small primaries for fuel efficency, and large secondaries for get up and go when needed. In the half dozen carbed 502 "Magnums" I've worked on for people, all have been Holley's...maybe YEAR has something to do with it???
