I'm considering removing the deck of my MX-15. Does anyone have any advise or documentation on how to do this? Pictures would be great. Thanks.

I have never done it on a MX15, but I have on my trimate.
If the boat is still on the trailer you will want to support the hull with some bracing. The sides of the boat are going to want to flex out a bit when the deck is removed.
Remove the rub rail rubber strip. If it is the original then you are going to have to heat is up bit to make it softer. Then carefully remove it. Mine slid out in places, other places it need a bit of help.
Now you are looking at the chanel that the rubber was siting in. You are going to have to drill out the heads of the rivits. use a small bit for this as you are going to reuse the holes.
Once the rail is off there are another set of rivits holding the two parts together, drill those heads out. I used a sharp knife to cut the sealant from the seam. The hard part is the splash well area. I had to cut part od the splash well as it was on there real good.
Once the deck is loose you can remove it completly or what I did was slide it forward a few feet so I could work on the transom. Just take your time and don't force it to much.
Good luck and have fun.
