I have a 14 foot aluminum run about I wanted to buy a cover for to keep the dirt and crap from the trees out of and am SHOCKED !! at the leat to see the prices. It is around $300-500 for a small cover like that. Heck it is half a full size big boat cover. Even at Crappy Tire and Walfart
Can anyone recommend a place ( preferably in Canada ) where I might find one cheaper than that ?
Thanks

Hi BigMoss, funny you should bring that up, I was poking around in the Loblaws Super stores today at lunch since I have lunch there everyday.
I saw some boat covers there that were really reasonably priced, I'm sure they are not the best quality but they may be just what your looking for.
I'll be back tomorrow for lunch so I'll get the particulars. Perhaps you have one close by, it will be worth a trip in, as most of the stores carry similar products.

I had the local marina make one for our 12' tin boat. It was around 200 bucks or so with domes on boat and tarp.
That was a few years ago though...

Hi BigMoss, here is the scoop on the boat cover in Loblaws Super Stores. I checked 2 stores and both had them, so chances are, yours will too.
Made by Tera Gear
Size is approx. 8 1/2 feet x 18.5 feet
cost $12.98
You should find it in the Seasonal Section, they carry lots of this Tera Gear stuff, mostly camping etc.
It's basically a tarpaulin, but it has eyelets and rope and is specifically made for boats. You can't go wrong for $12.98, you could even pick up 2 and double it up or keep one for a spare.

No Problem BigMoss, like I say for $12.98 you can't go wrong. For what your intentions are, it will probably work out just fine.
Take Care
