I am looking for a Swim Ladder to use on my 1988 Starflight. Does anyone know where I can buy one?

Thanks, Bandit01

YES... maybe mine??? I am trying to find a set of the older "twin" fiberglass Starflight platforms. If I can scare something up... my stainless 1992 LH factory flip-down will be available to you... http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif Jim.

Speaking of swim ladders, I have a question.
Why are factory installed swim ladders always installed on the port (passenger side). When I pickup a skier, I always approach keeping him/her on starboard. The skier then has to go around the engine and swim back to the ladder.

My only thought is because of the outboard exhaust water stream on starboard side of engine.

Hey Jim, that would be great. Let me know how much you want for it & if/when it will be available. Thx, BJD

jwh445... good question!

Noted "boaterhead buddy of mine" (lets call him "BOB"), standing here says another possible reason is easier to look diagonally over your left shoulder at egress & ingress off port side of boat. If it was on the right, you would have to turn all the way around.

My thought is that it offsets the weight of a person entering... driver is on starboard, person boarding on port will keep the load more even???

I just want twin platforms for my Starflight (not just a ladder), so the kids can swim & board easier! Jim.

merc245... Yea... ME TOO!!!

I just like the idea of the kids being able to swim up and sit on either side with the platforms. The swim ladder I have is ONLY a ladder... so no place for the kids to sit http://checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/jpshakehead.gif...

No thanks! I like the OB's... but if I had to pick a swim platform upgrade it would be a 23 Stiletto BR or ZT230BR for the family http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Anyone want a 21 Starflight with a 300 Promax http://checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/devil.gif
