Hey just to let everyone know our buddy coop is in icu with a fractured noggin. He had a run in with a loading dock or the pavment under it as he fell off. just wanted to say get healed up buddy. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/thumb.gifYou're in our prayers.

Wow, Sad to here this news. I just spoke with him about the restore a checkmate idea/plan a couple days ago. Hopefully he will get well real soon. I don't know how to get with him about the checkmate project boat. I know that he has this injury on his "plate" now but the guy that has the hull is in a hurry to get boat gone/harley fixed. Intensive care unit. He has had tree cat scans yesterday alone but the doctors say he will be fine with some rehabilitation and rest.They are watching some blood bhind his ears on his knogin.once they are sure about everything he should be able to go home and lay around for a while .

Spoke to Coop and had been in to see him twice. He's doing well and a little sore and a headache and it's mostly the left side. Doc's gotten him up around the room and around a bit letting him walk down the hall and Coop says he has a chance to go home maybe tomorrow. Coop has been in good spirits http://www.checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/thumb.gif . I will be stopping in again in the morning to see him and Bdusted440 can probly give you all the updates as he finds out also. Howdy Guys, Just spoke to Coop on the phone and Coop is as of 2pm today getting released from the hospitol. He is a lttle sore and is doing better. Coop should be on here later when he gets home and might be replying to most of the posted that everyone has left. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/thumb.gif Coop is pretty tuff and has handled the fall alot better than normal I think, so keep an eye on the thread and Coop will be replying pretty soon.

Thank you for all your well wishes it really helps.

I am home now but have quite a bit to work through. I've got a bigger head ache than I hope any of you ever feel. about the farthest I've walked so far is across the street to gramma's. Trying to type with one hand is kind of hard and slow. and I'm almost ready to take another nap.

So here is what happened. I was getting my trailer reloaded over in Massollin OH and fell backwards over a net out a loading dock door landing on my head on the concrete below the dock door laid there until I could get up cause no one saw it. Walked to help and then was down till help came. Can't tell you a whole lot more about this. Cause thats when the drugs kicked in. Thank God for Morphene.

A friend of mine is healing from a major head injury, had him in a drug induced coma for quite some time, until the swelling on his brain went down.
He was in the ICU for 6weeks and hospitalized for 4 months, it has been a loooong slow process and he still has a loooong way to go.

Coop glad to hear you are home .I got tangeled up in my hydrulic lines for my trailer dump when i went to check my glad hands on the low bed fell over hit my head on the back of the cab went over the side hung upside down for about 8-10 mins. the lines kept me from hitting my head on the ground. take it slow OC.

Man, I feel for you. Not long after I got my own truck, I was chaining down an car on the upper deck and fell off the lower deck when my rachet bar slipped. Luckily my head hit one of the other cars instead of the ground.

Still recovering. Had about 14 xrays friday got a cast on my right hand. Still cant hear out of my left ear and I've got the mother of all headaches. One day at a time.

Glad to here that he's doin better. I talked with him on the phone @ 10 days ago for about an hour. Seems to be in good spirits, considering the situation. Keep gettin better. P.S. my back surg. is set for 6/6/05 (finaly it will be getting fixed).
