While making some other repairs, I found some wet/rotted core in the bottom of my Enchanter. The area in question was about the size of a tennis ball, but I've removed an area of balsa about twice that size to make sure I was into dry material. What can I use to backfill this area? I can use balsa for most of it, but there is one area at the seam between the balsa for the pad & the balsa for the vee where water got under the bulkhead in front of the tank (about the size of your little finger). I've been able to dig this out and dry it, but obviously it isn't accessible to put balsa in. Does anyone have any recommendations of something that could be injected or worked into the area? Also is there something other than balsa that would be recommended for a small repair like this?

I forgot to mention that I have some Layup and Laminating resin, Epoxy filler and CPES all from the Rot Doctor (http://www.rotdoctor.com/). I'm thinking replace the bulk of it with balsa (using it to make a dam around the area near the bulkhead) and then pour in the layup resin to fill the area under the bulkhead. Any comments?

Sounds like you have a plan. That sould work. Fill in as much of the balsa as you can and then fill the rest with epoxy. A small area like that I would just make sures its sealed.
