My exciter came to me with an aluminum prop, I would like to replace it with a stainless prop, but don't want to wait for spring. Is there a good all around performer for a 350 alpha one exciter, or should I wait to water test the aluminum and step up or down from there?

I would wait and base line the boat with the prop thats on it.
Look for top speed
Hole shot
RPM range.
That will give you an idea of what pitch to start looking for.

I agree I would wait till spring thats the best way you can tell your results. Props are funny, the best way to know them is to try as many as you can.

I don't want to try more than one at $300-$400 a pop.
