91 ... like erik said henry hudson park is tops . i have stayed over at the brass lantern in hyde park and at haverstraw bay marina (or whatever they call themselves now) and a couple marinas in the harbor . liberty (i think) and newport .gas is easy ! about 34 - 36 ft water most of the way . check your charts near the statue !!!!!!!!! as a rule roughest water is around west point bear mountain . BOAT WAKES ! sunday more so than saturday . if this is your first time , take your time see the sites. i have made this run in my 25 convincor and the 28 convincor . one of my friends did it in a 24 enforcer . don't remember if the gtx is a convincor or enforcer derivitive . but either way the north half of the trip will be more comfortable. one other option you may wish to consider if this is your first time . is to trailer to newburg . 2hours south of albany ,launch 15 minutes from thruway ,an hour or so by water to the action . good luck
