I just wwnt thru the wet foam problem last year. The way i found out was to drill to small holes in the cavity where the foam is. Then using a compressor i pumped air into one of the holes. This then shot water up out of the other hole. If it is not wet it is easy to use some west system epoxy and cloth to seal the holes. A suggestion to keep water out is to remove any screws and apply a sealer to the threads befor installing. The screws are where the water wnet in on mine. Good Luck

I use a little device that my wife has for checking if her house plants need water. You can find it at walmart for about $5 in the gardening section. Just shove the probe into the foam and it tells you if its wet or not. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
