I'll bet your booth was the envy of the other dealers. Were there any other performance boats there, or do you have a corner on the market?? Let me know when you're ready to hire some good help http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Please... excuse my ignorance, but what is the new motor on the back of the Pulsare? If anything, it looks cool!
They all look good... Where is the 300X at? That would look good with flames...

That 300X makes the price sky rocket, not a good package to put in a show. Boat shows are pretty cut throat and the seller really needs to be careful how they package boats so as not to scare people away with sticker shock. I think I am close, but you probably need to add 7 or 8 grand for the 300 over the 225
I know what you mean. They could at least list somewhere else that a 300X would be available. In Canada, a new 300X by itself would cost at least 20K... Ouch... Add that to a say $20-25 000 Pulsare Hull and it adds up fast. Who knows in this expensive world anymore...

Hey Rick, here is an idea, she could be the Checkmate/Bayview Marine girl for the Checkmate Rendevous. We can send Steph to the Packer hall of Fame, then I can give her a ride! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Woohoo!! I gotta get one of those tank tops for my Pulsare too!! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif In case you are wondering, no, it is not for me (thank god)! How much, what colors, what sizes (extra extra small preferably) and how fast can I get one for my deck fluff. LOL.
I feel the need for speed!
In all honesty, you can't beat the tanks, my wife has a couple that she wore all last summer on the boat and for around 10 bucks or so each, they held up really well and are ready for another summer!

http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif Good Morning everyone.. the motor on the 2100 is a 250XB, she's basically a de-tuned 300 so to speak. It's a very expensive motor, and we just found out from Mercury that it's getting scratched and will no longer be available.(the fuel system is no longer available is my understanding). The tubes are 10 bucks, I have one left in grey, but do have more coming. Grey and black are the only color choices. Hopefully within the next week or two I'll have my apparel page done on the website. Sarah worked out really well at the show! Even our competition had to walk down and check out our booth! Very nice! The 220-ZT was a show stopper, in fact our local Baja/Fountain dealer walked down and looked at it several times.. We didn't know if he was checking out the 220 or Sarah.. turned out both! That 220 is a heck of a boat, probably the best in class of the 22's, power hatch and all! Awesome job Checkmate! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif
By the way... we will have some company at our Checkmate event in August.. yeah Bill, I think my wife will be going to the Packer Hall of Fame with yours!

Hey Rick, I noticed in the pics before I reduced the size you had GPS speed listings for each of the boats on the windshields. Do you think you could post them? I thought I saw 85 MPH on the Pulsare.

Actually we did post 85mph on that one, we where told though from a pretty good source at Mercury that the 2100 probably could hit 90mph with that motor.. we thought that may be pushing it a tad, so we stuck with 85mph. That motor had a trick gear case and all, very neat!
Other speeds..
The ZT-220 should run 68 with the 6.2
300 Convincer 74 with twin 6.2's
ZT-260 62 with single 496 mag
our 185 Pulse, I rough guessed 62 with the 150XR

Hi Chris,
I'd let this one go for around $23,000 U.S. funds, propped, battery, ready to go boating, cockpit cover, 150XR6, ski tow, and trailer with aluminum rims are included. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif
www.Bayviewmarinecenter.com (http://www.Bayviewmarinecenter.com)
10 bucks for the tanks is a great deal from Rick, I just checked, and I paid 14.95 each last spring. If Merc is getting rid of that 250, they should incorprate the decals to another motor. Has the COOL factor. (I think)

The Pulsare.. with the 250XB, trailer, cockpit cover, battery and prop.. right around the $35,000 mark. You could bring that down with a 225 or other choice of power, that XB is very expensive. Rick

That Pulsare with the 250XB in the pics is a nice looking boat. Just one comment though, 85 mph?...90 mph?. Wishful thinking. Got to be careful when listing top speeds. Many Pulsare owners out there know it's impossible. It would take way more HP and rpms than that motor can deliver to see mph's like that. To break 80 mph in a Pulsare you need at least 300 hp and you need to turn a big wheel up past 6000 rpms. No big deal, I know you're just repeating what the Merc rep claims.
Higest I have seen is around 85 for a Pulsare. Pop a ET on a 300X and there you go! These 85-90 speeds would make new to boating boaters really anxious to buy this boat. The people that actually know about something, would know its advertising...

Big difference, you get much better service from Rick and Rick is cheaper. I will never buy anything from the catalogue again. They do not know how to tell the truth!!!!!!!!!!!
THats what I thought but I was not sure. I now know where I am getting my Checkmate apparel. Thanks man.

They are the people that make the items. One thing to watch out for, is the brokerage fees when the stuff comes across the border. Brilliant insist on using UPS who are extremely expensive. My advice is order a bunch of stuff and make it worth your while. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

But isn't everyone saying its better to order from Bayview? I mean, I am not sure what would cost more, from Brilliant, and then shipping it to Ottawa, or Rick, then shipping it to Ottawa? Help here please? http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

440, call or e-mail Rick, he can take care of you much better than that brilliant promotions place can. They have a problem with lying to the customers.
Lying? How they do this? I am going to order some stuff something this weekend. Just have to choose what...

Ok... I can tell by what everyone says that Rick is pretty cool and honest. ITs great to have people like that around. Thanks man!!!

My banker liked Rick's accent so much, he save the voice mail that rick left so he could listen to it. Z Canadians are not the only ones who say EH! Uppers and people from Northern Wisconsin do too. Uppers talk funnier than you!
Talk funny? Hopefully you mean all of Canada. When I give him a shout, I'll probably know what you mean http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
