what brand of steering should i look at. i want to run a 150-200 on my 16' predictor with a jack plate. also how would i measure for the length needed?

Teleflex makes a good dual cable steering setup - try to go rack style instead of rotary. Take the measurement shown in the link above and round to the next foot. That should get you pretty close.
