Thank You Kip Combs, Factory Tour

I was in the Cleveland area with my wife and had an extra day so we took the long way back to NY state. We headed south west to Checkmate. A few hours out of the way but well worth it. Kip gave us a tour and we got to see the whole factory, it was awesome. My wife and I really enjoyed meeting the workers and seeing boats being turned out. Something to be said for the small companies that spend time doing what they love. Making great boats. I want to personally thank Kip for taking time to give us the tour. Plus I picked up some new emerald rub rail for my convincor251.

AS A PAST FACTORY REP FOR ACTIVE THUNDER BOATS I CAN TELL YOU THAT THE ONE THING THAT WILL PUT A BUYER OVER THE EDGE TO STROKE A CHECK IS SEEING A WELL RUN BOAT FACTORY AND A WELL BUILT BOAT. IT'S NICE TO KNOW THAT THE COMBS FAMILY IS SO OUTGOING WHEN IT COMES TO PEOPLE VISITING THEIR FACILITY.
