Its alright but I'm a diehard GM Fan so I like the new Cadillac XLR or something sporty like the vette! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
Checkmates may not be the fastest boats on the water, but they are the nicest looking!

It doesn't look bad, but what's that underneath it?
Oh, sorry, silly me, they're parts that fell out of the transmission, I forgot it's a Mopar. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

1975 Checkmate Tri-mate 2, 2.4 200+

LOL Sorry Gus. Actually, I'm not a big Mopar fan. The old ones were OK, but I've heard too many horror stories about any of the new ones. My Grandfather is a Mopar diehard and had a car that had two transmissions in the first 4000K so they gave him a new car. But if I criticize Chrysler he always defends them by telling me how Mopar always covers everything under warranty. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

I like my Chevy's thank you very much. I have a Chevy Avalanche and got a set of http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifMagshttp://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif for it and it looks AWESOME. I am also looking at a '70 Chevelle SS 427... I don't know; Boat or Car, right now a boat sounds better for me! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/eyes.gif

Hopefully they put a V-10 in it. I never understood why they built the Prowler to only have the V6.

I've had every brand of american car and some from Deutchland and Japan. They all can make some junk, and they can all get lucky once in a while. I agree about the Prowler though, there's no way that car should have come out of the factory with anything other than a Straight 8!!

Its Chrylser come on... http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif They hadn't had a half-decent sports car in ages... While Camaro and Mustang are duking it out, Chrylser is making their family cars!

The XLR is said to probably have the 5.7 Litre V-8 producing anywhere from 350-400 Horsepower...
"Power will come from a 5.7-liter V8. Although Cadillac originally said it would have "around 350 horsepower" more recent ramblings suggest closer to 400. The manual transmission may receive a sixth gear while the automatic will probably get upgraded with automanual capability of some kind. Other enhancements include a tweaked suspension, larger wheels and tires, more powerful brakes, standard Stabilitrak, dual exhaust tips and a larger front air intake. The interior will also get a few upgrades like unique seating, additional instrumentation and "V-Series" badging."

Thats funny, Camaro and mustang, not much of a race there. Mustang has been slow for years now. But you can spend the extra $$ I guess.
Family cars, Its a stretch but I guess you could call the VIPER a family car. lol
I would love to see the new hemi and rear wheel drive in this car. The new 300N is going to have this set up. Should be a fun car.

I want one of these myself! Lettered up with my company name and some Checkmate decor. sweet! We currently have two diesels, a Ford and Dodge, can't complain about either, the Dodge has 122,000 on it, no tranny issues ever, only two track bars in the front. Toms Ford has around 60,000 miles on it. Our trucks are used hard besides.. our hydrualic trailer weighs in at around 8,000 pounds by itself empty. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif
