That Checkmate is garbage. I can't believe someone would throw in some fold down fishing seats and claim the interior was just re-done!

HEY! I just bought that boat. I'm gonna donate the seats to the Checkmate Museum. They've been buggin' me about displaying them, so I guess I'll give in for the cause. A couple of 5 gallon buckets should do for now. Seriously, the boats in my garage ready for a MAJOR redo. Anybody wanna come to the seat burning party?

I'd love some pictures. I'm not able to "restore" it for now. I'm going to do a nice paint job and new interior and just enjoy for now. Maybe I'll restore it factory correct when I have another boat to take it's spot. I need some time for my Mopars too!

Dave, Please tell us that the seats will be the first thing to go. I'd rather see nothing there at all then those. yuk The boat might truely be embarrassed.

The seats are gone! First thing to go. They will look just fine in my buddy's jon boat (where they belong). Bought a double axle trailer yesterday to put her on when done. I'm sanding her down this weekend, well I'm just starting to sand!

AHHH the joy of sanding. Doing the bottom on mine. The people that painted the darn thing shouls be told that runs in the paint are not a good thing.
