92 checkmate pulse 185

I have a 92 checkmate pulse 185, the windsheild is coming apart at the joint and i would like to get it all replaced with a new one; it has black trim around the window. Also I am getting all of the seats redone and some of the wood is in bad shape. Instead of having a carpenter redo it all i was wondering if i could just buy the shell of it all.Any #'s would help, if i can call checkmate or any oter sug. would help. Thanks, nick

Hey Nick,

First, welcome to the board.

Checkmate can definately help you out. They can make skins for your existing seats if you like, or go as far as completely redoing them for you.

The windshield part should be available. I'm not too sure exactly which part is coming apart where, but given your boat is fairly new, I would guess most parts will still be available.

You can reach Checkmate at 419-562-3881 and Mike Combs will probably be the best person to speak to.

Just for interest, check out this thread, you might find it interesting.

WINDSHIELDS ARE NOW ALL BRUSHED ALUMINUM. THE BLACK ANODIZED ONLY LASTED FOR A FEW YEARS THEN THE FACTORY WENT BACK TO BRUSHED ALUMINUM. LOOKS BETTER TOO! SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET A NEW ONE AS THEY STILL MAKE THAT EXACT BOAT TO THIS DAY.

I am the one who knows all!

The black looks nice, but is scratches and fades too easily. I wish I had the brushed aluminum!
