Anyone know anything about Glasstream Boats??

Heres a couple pics of my budy's 1987 Glasstream Free Spirit. It's 19' with the 350/260hp Mercruiser in it. He asked me to post on here and see if anyone might have some info on this boat. It does look like it shared the same windshield as some older Checkmates...is there any connection between Checkmate and Glasstream?? Thanks for any help.

No connection that I know of. But that is a very similar windshield.

Actually, it does have a strong resemblance to the August "Boat of the Month" on the entrance page, minus the out-board. I can't find any other shots of that boat to compare it with.
