Just bought myself an 88 Exciter with a 200 Black Max on it. I am considering putting the 200 on my Predictor and selling the Exciter and trailer? 50 is boreing me, I need 70mph do keep from sleeping at the wheel...Oh Baby

Hi BigWhiteBoy, was the Exciter the one on E-Bay which ended the other day. If so, it looks pretty cool from the pictures and the price seemed reasonable. You may be surpised at the speed of the Exciter, from what I saw from the brochures it weighs in around 1000 lbs without power.
Take Care

Yes it is the one from E BAy. The boat isn't bad but I think the 200 Black Max will go faster on the Predictor. I wonder about top speed on each with that 200 setup? I am looking out the window at the ice melting on the lake and am getting the bug! Better make a move soon!

BigWhiteBoy, Thanks for the follow up, as I say, it looks good from the pictures, especially without the wind shield\screen.
Have Fun !!

st up that predictor properly and you will see 70 to 80 in it. you can run 72 all day long with a 26" prop. im pushing for 80 this season.
what make engine is your 200?

IllMatic, The 200 is a Mercury Black Max. Seller says it runs good.....We will see?....What ya think, keep the Exciter or set up the Predictor? Or swap motors and sell one of them?

well, here are a couple factors to weigh in.
both of these boats have the same style and look ( freakin great)
the exiter weighs in at 250 lbs more than a predictor. most of which look like it is out front.
you will have a bit more room in the exiter.
you will also want to look at overall condition of both boats. which one will last longer and look nicer.
i think both boats can be fast with the right setup. BUTT, the predictor imo will be faster. ill bet you can hit 70 with the exiter. 80 with the predictor.
one more and ill let you go. what is your main objective? speed only or some speed and running with a full crew? i can still hit 70 with 4 people in mine no prob.
post some photos to help with my mental picture here.

I dont know if I have any predictor pics but it needs front seats and the gel is fading ...typical , I guess? I live on the lake and like to ski and tube with the family. Then I like to go nuts till I **** myself while blasting music, followed by heavy drinking and nudity. Maybe the Exciter would be an easier resto choice........BWB....aka
