Mike...I emailed Kip and asked him if he could send me a pic of the Pacifica. I also asked, if, when he gets a minute, he could drop by and post the details of the Pacifica. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hey Mike,
If your talking about Pacifica's made in the 90's,there were two.The Pacifica 199 closed bow & the 198 bowrider. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif They were a 20'2" deep V hull with 94"beam. They also had an intergrated swim platform. 4.3 to 5.7 litre engines were available. They weigh about 2600lbs. Great looking Boats! Erik

Look through Google Image Searches or any other image look up. Also, if not already, you could join up on Scream and Fly and post a thread for others to reply. There are lots of members there so you won't be short of pictures...

Checkmates may not be the fastest boats on the water, but they are the nicest looking!

Making it better is an understatement. Mine may not be better but IT will be stronger. I should have weighed it before I started. All this wood and glass have to add some weight. But considering all the wet water soaked wood I took out, the differance might not be that bad.

The Pacifica was just another model in the early 90's......something a little(well alot)deeper than what we had been producing up till that point. A bigger version of the Starlet/Starfire 18 footer(which sold pretty well).Just never sold well(to deep for a Check i guess)I'll try and get the catalog page to Chris this week! Been busy guys..sorry i haven't been around! God (who ever he is)...is right, not many sold a pretty rare bird!

Thanks for the info. A O/B of that boat would be cool. I would like that better than the I/O. Was there ever one?
