1990 is probably a Spectra then. The Pulse didn't come out in the 17' version until 1992.

Where was it?
I'm not looking (having too much fun with mine now that the oil alarm is not going off any more) but I know a couple people who are.

I saw it at a boat landing on the Mississippi in Cassville, WI. I think the guy that owns it is from Cuba City, WI.

The guy he bought it from is a good friend of mine who had it for a long time. It's a screamer and is in very good shape.

Drex,
I've known Ryan since I was 14. Good friends, although I don't get to see him and his wife as much anymore since they sold that boat. I was going to buy that boat back in 96', bought a project 87' Starflight instead and Ryan ended up buying it in 97'.

It was nice when he bought it and he did a lot of work on it after that. He painted the motor entirely, cowl, mid, and l/u. He also painted the trailer and sanded/buffed the hull and deck.

It is a Spectra, I'm pretty sure. The mid has a welded in exhaust snout and inner liner removed. Always seemed louder than any 2.5 Merc... She is a screamer, but could be getting close to needing a rebuid if the new owner hasn't already done it. I'm pretty sure it has cut heads.

I'll take you up on that beer! I think Ryan just bought a body shop in Kieler. His wife and mine are good friends.

Do you hava a buddy who has a solid yellow Baja, about a 27 footer or so? We were floating around with him out in the channel just below Wapaton a couple of weeks ago.

Stay away from the guy with the yellow Baja. He will drink all your beer...He's a good friend of mine. He dropped an exhaust valve in his 502/502 right around that time. We pulled the motor and he needs to bore the cylinders, too much damage. Also scarred up the head real bad. He's thinking about dart heads and new cam while he's at it. Once parts come in we'll throw it back in.
