Buddy of mine has a '99 Mercury Racing 225 ProMax (20 inch midsection, sportmaster gearcase) up for sale... It has 175 easy hours on it. In great shape never abused.... Always maintained and winterized properly. Always ran with Merc Oil and Premium Fuel. Price is $12,500 Canadian (+GST), which is just over $9300 US. Hey ZO6...curious what kind of transom jack is pictured with that motor??? Jim.

Looks a lot like Mercury's "Paralift" set back.
As you lift it up it pulls itself into the transom.

You are correct it is the Paralift system.

Was on a Hydrostream Venus XT, and did 96.1 MPH and he is looking to go faster....

The entire boat is for sale. Price is 30K US if not mistaken. Which is appx 22K USD. Its 95 MPH, not 91 http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif He has decided to sell the boat as he has two kids and lots of skiiers, and it was not the most economic boat, so it is for sale...
