my boat is peeling all over the top half ive been told that clear gelcoat does not peel?
and clear coat does my predictor is all original so is it paint or gelcoat and what can i do about it

Sounds like it was cleared at one time because Gel doesn't peel.To stop and or clean up the area I'd recommend wet sanding the area and then reapplying some clear.That would hopefully stop it from spreading.Had the same problem on one of mine too.

how do you blend the two clears??just buff it?It seems like its alot thicker than a regular clearcoat. Ill give it a shot.

You have to wet sand the area with some 600 to 1000 grit so it blends in when you touch it up with the clear.Then when that dries,wet sand that area again with 800 grit gradually to 1200 grit. Then buff it out( an electric buffer w/foam pad works the best for me) with a quality rubbing compound. And follow with a polishing mixture.
