This is the new 20ft Pulsare with blue flames that are outlined in bright silver flake. I added blue guage bezels, blue grab bar and blue Dino softgrip steering wheel. It runs in the high 70's with a 225x Mercury. It's $32,500 with the 2003 225x, or new Merc 200. I also have lots of other new and used motors. It's on an aluminum Loadmaster trailer. All my new Checkmates are ten percent over dealer pricing. Email liberatorboats@yahoo.com. It's not made anymore. It's a Promax 225 with the Opti intake. Supposed to be 245hp at the prop. This 2003 motor had a brand new powerhead from Mercury under warrantee in Nov. 2005. It has 3 hours on it now. I just put a New 200 Opti on it a couple weeks ago. It has'nt been in the water yet.

why do you go with that style of trailer as opposed to the c-hawk? Flame boat looks fantastic in the water!

We have salt water around here. A C-hawk trailer would be ready for the dump in a year if you used it in saltwater. Also, I get 4 or 5 boats at a time on a truck. There would be no way to get the trailers down here at the same time.

ok, another stupid question then, where i live, salt (snow and all that winter stuff) on the road destroy's everything including aluminum. in fact, last week i was hired by a helicopter repair company to shrink wrap a bell jet ranger that they had replaced most of the body panels on. there concern was protecting the aluminum body from salt damage on delivery from barrie to montreal.

so if that's the case, how come the aluminum trailers don't suffer the same fate?

Salt will corrode aluminum. I work for a major window and door manufacturer and we sell aluminum clad wood windows. On oceanfront, I've seen the aluminum eaten all the way through because the edges of the cladding were not painted (the pieces are cut from a long, prepainted extrusion and not touched up). The aluminum is very thin (compared to a trailer) and it was exposed to salt air for at least 15 years. Even properly painted steel wouldn't last a year or two sitting right beside the ocean here.

That said, as thick as a trailer is it would take a while to cause major damage - I'm guessing 20+ years.

Painting the aluminum almost completely stops corrosion. We have a "Seacoast" upgrade where all edges of the aluminum cladding are painted. I wonder if those trailers are clear coated?
