I'll start off with saying that I'm a newb when it comes to selecting props (actually, I'm a newb to boating all-together)....
....just perusing eBay and stumbled by this little number.

Is this any good? Is it an ideal prop for my '87 Ambassador (w/ 350, Merc O/D)? Will the damn thing even fit?
Thanks to anyone who can help out.

No it won't work for you. Unless you have a opposite rotating drive. That is a left hand prop. Also, a 23" prop is going to be too big for your set-up.
If you are interested, I have a 19" Clever for sale at the parts bin on this site. While a clever may not be ideal for you, it should be the right size for you.

Mark,I'd say your prop range is from 19"-22",about 13 7/8-14 1/4 diameter.Merc. laser II or Turbo are a couple good choices. They have to be Right Hand rotation as Vinny pointed out.

IF you have a deale who sells prop's locally. They may have a testing program. Lets you try a prop out to see if it works on your boat. I must have run 20 or so props before I found a good one. Will still try different props just to see what the boat does.
