I run my Pulse185 in Lake Racer1 class. I'm with The Upper Midwest Power Boat Assn. It's a small club that has members from Ill. Mn. Wi. Sd. Ia. Etc. They are based in New Ulm Mn. About 25 miles from me. It's a fun group and is open to all boats. Kinda far for you though.

i would love to have something like this around here.

here in MI there is a 55 mph speed limit on all water ways. you have to go 2 miles off shore into the great lakes to be able to run with no limit.

That sucks. I hate the no wake zones in some of the rivers and lakes round here. The ocean is much more fun, just wide open throttle all the way http://checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/surf.gif

While we do have the 55 mph speed limits, the sherrif never was able to lock onto my Pulsare with his radar gun http://checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/sssh.gif

i have never heard of anybody getting a speeding ticket. they see you running fast so they stop you and get you on some other charge.
