Fridge problem

I have a 120vac/12vdc fridge on my Convincor. The thing used to work real good. Now it will only run with the 120vac connected. I did check the voltage on the incoming DC line to the fridge and got 12.63. Anyone have any ideas as to what to look for?

Seems the regulator went out on the alternator. It was charging at 16-17 volts. That voltage burned the power supply board in the fridge.......$200.00 for a alternator and $300.00 for a new power supply board.
