Hi folks. Any guesses on what kind of MPG I can expect from my new boat?
It's a 1976 tri-mate II with a 1985 115hp in-line 6cyl Merc. Gas tank is 15 gallons.

I would say in between 3 to 7 gallons an hour
depending how hard u are using it

Yep, thats about right. Should be good for a full day of fun. I wish I could do that with mine. Must learn to keep my foot out of it.
I used to have a Mid- late 80's 90HP Johnson and with a 15 gallon tank it would all day as lomg as a was just cruising and it was below 4000RPM. If you were opening the throttle over and over pulling up skiers and having the motor under a atain pulling them down the lake, the gas mileage steemed to be cut in half. Regardless the gas mileage should be great!
