When I line up the two halves of boat, what should I use for an adhesive. Is there a certain machine that inserts rivets?

THE NAME OF THE ADHESIVE IS CALLED PLEXUS. YOUR FIBERGLASS WILL BREAK BEFORE THE PLEXUS JOINT DOES!! IF YOU ARE RUNNING IN ROUGH WATER YOU WILL ALSO WANT TO GLASS THE INNER SEAM WHERE THE DECK MEETS THE HULL. THIS IS THE WAY MOST OFFSHORE PERFORMANCE BOATS ARE BUILT. MAKE SURE YOUR HULL IS SUPPORTED PROPERLY BEFORE JOINING THE TWO PIECES TOGETHER. YOU MAY ALSO WANT TO USE STAINLESS SCREWS ALONG THE RUBRAIL LINE. THIS WILL SECURE THE DECK AND HULL WHILE YOU ARE BONDING THE TWO TOGETHER.

I used a high grade marine silicone. Once I had the 2 halves together I went around the boat and pryed up the edge. shoth the silicone in the gave and released the part I was prying on.
As far as the rivits, I used stainless. Do you self a favor and buy, barrow, steal a powered rivit gun. You can buy a hand rivit gun and it will work but if you boat is anything like mine I had 178 rivits holding the 2 halves together. Hands where sore for days.
